General Discussion - Does Item rarity gems stack when equipped? - Forum

If I have 2 item rarity gems equipped do they stack? My stats for my character's item rarity says 19% under Misc. but they dont change when I equip a gem or both.. am I reading something wrong? You cannot stack the same support twice, thrice, or any number of times more than once on a skill for added effectiveness. As far as i know item Rarity IS a support gem which increases the rarity of items killed with the spell/skill the Item-Rarity-Gem is supporting, so no you can not stack it and yes it is a support skill and no again your stats do not change. The easy way to tell this is to mouse over the gem and read all the funny looking squiggles that come up. They're called "letters" and they form "words" and one of the word ALL support gems will have is "support" up towards the top. edit Also, every single support gem I have found up to this point has a rounder shape while skill gems have an oval shape.
