Puncture from mobs too op....

Puncture, the skill which cause bleeding is way too over powered and unbalanced in higher difficulty.
In merciless difficulty, one puncture on a non-str based character equals guaranteed death. Yes, there is no way out of it, no amount of flask or stuff can help you from your imminent doom. Before you ask, I did invest quite some points into maximum hp. Proposal to fix such issue is to let the damage cap when your character reaches 1 hp. This thread has been automatically archived. Better explain, I mean your health reaches 1 hp and it won't go over, so enemy has to deliever the final blow.

It seems to be very OP when you have no life regen or/and armor, since you can't mitigate the damage, perhaps the mobs who use this skill could receive a dmg nerf and att speed buff?

Just stand still until it wears off, instead of running around while spamming your quicksilver flask? :p

Does flask of warding dispel the bleed effect from Puncture? It works on status ailment debuffs (not sure about poison effect)
Edit: Also, which mobs puncture? Do the mobs in Terraces have a base chance to puncture? Or skeleton archers, even if it doesnt explicitly say so? (I got punctured randomly in a temporal chains dune map -- close call. the TC extends the duration of puncture while keeping damage constant) Last edited by SerBasterd#0375 on Feb 18, 2013, 7:28:54 PM

Just stand still.
" Puncture is not a curse. |
|
" This is what really makes Puncture dangerous to many characters, especially ranged characters. Standing still is a good way to get killed in most situations. |
|
" Indeed. You'll have to know when to run and when to stand still so as to not die from your bleeding. |
|
" mobs that does puncture have the skill listed below their name. Pants are for nephalem, we are exiles, we do not need pants.

So far, I only play ranged and I learned real quick to watch for that puncture word under their name. If you try to move around, that is why you take that damage. It can be your demise if you find yourself surrounded by 1+ punctures and several high dmg melee mobs. It has ended at least one of my HC characters' lives.
There is no comfort in the unfamiliar.
There is no adventure in the familiar. |
