Glowing weapon effects obtainable in game or micro-transaction?

Hello, i am a new player in POE just recently started a day ago. i am wondering if any glowing weapons are obtainable in-game or do you have to buy them off the cash shop?
Like are there any endgame Unique items that actually have a glow effect? if not is GGG planning to do this to some items in-game? Thanks |

Some weapons have very nice special effects but not many are truly endgame-worthy. Many players buy skin transfers and transfer the look of cheap uniques onto endgame gear.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Taryns Shiver staff has really nice skin in my opinion

Oh okay. so there are actual items in the game that have a glow? or is it just a nice looking skin?

" There are. Brightbeak has a nice glow, Goddess Scorned has an awesome flaming effect that even leaves particles when thrown, Death's Harp has a shadowy effect... Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Ah cool. So these glowing weapons in-game you can get the skin of them and use it for endgame right? does skin transfer require basic points or can you buy it in-game?

Skin transfers require cold, hard cash, unfortunately and are consumable unlike regular microtransaction effects, but are pretty cheap.
There are more weapons with visuals, those were off the top of my head. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

You can see a collection of screenshots of uniques that have their own model here. All the particle effects in these screenshots are ones that come with the item, not added afterwards by the player.

Someof the effects might not be available anymore,since they were parts ofsupporter packs that have been retired.
