Generosity increases the effect of your auras on allies (including Minions) but prevents them affecting you.

It affects minions and party members.
It won't affect you if it's on a totem.
Totem or Trap gets same buff as the caster (Its not considered as an individual but an indirect source from caster)

actually totems and traps are exactly considered as own entities, that just use your stats

on generosity "you" refers to your character. If it said caster wont be effected, then it should work with spelltotem

Already tried it,
SWT w/ hatred w/o generosity -> gets cold dmg (based from skill description)
SWT w/ hatred w/ generosity -> no cold dmg (based from skill description)

I think he's asking is the generosity supported aura in ON the totem, not if your totems still get aura effects.
Totems don't benefit from auras directly.
They just use your offensive stats.

For example, SWT will deal cold dmg from hatred but not because the aura is directly buffing the totem.
You can drop your SWT and run away and the totem will still do cold dmg, even if it's not in aura range.

The same is true for purity, the totem will not benefit from purity even if you are close to the totem.

If you use generosity, you will no longer benefit from the aura, thus the totem will no longer benefit from whatever offensive increase the aura provided you with.

The OP's question was if generosity affects you if it's on a totem.
The answer is no.

If you link a spell totem with generosity and aura, you will not benefit from the generosity's boost.
