Theorycraft the Nycta's Lantern for Fun

So this item is a theoretical free 6L.

The question is, what could we possibly put in here to make use of the supports that would actually be good?

Of course, we're probably going to want to use a spell, and one that uses physical damage to make use of the added fire. We can also used the hatred aura in this case. I think AoF could be useful.

Made me think of using either:
a) glacial cascade: Cold added with Hatred, fire added, cold, phys converted to fire w/ AoF
b) EK: Cold, fire added, converted to fire w/ AoF
c) Bear trap: Same as above.

Thoughts? This may be a funny way to level or something...

Right, it would be good for a physical spell with hatred, hrimsorrow, chernobog and AoF for a complete physical and cold to fire conversion.

Too bad supports aren't of higher level and it has no caster stats besides low spell damage roll.

The best option is EK because the added fire works with it.
But the cold to fire is kind of useless, unless it somehow works with hatred aura after the physical damage from EK has been converted to cold...but I doubt it does.

Note gems in Lantern.

Very fun, especially since this is a Templar so I took some elemental nodes.
Mana cost is huge, though. Preety hard to handle at act 2 Cruel. So the helm is more for the mana than it is for the damage bonuses.

Of course it does, that's the whole point.
