Hi Morello ,
I got a very similar rig , but a gts250amp instead.
A bit more powerful card. It do sounds like your card is getting too hot.Do you have Vsync on? If not , check that box!(no use to have +100 fps on a 60hz monitor=overheats your card.)Fixed some jumpy performance for me.
Download Evga precision to monitor (works with most Nvidia cards , not only Evga´s) You can monitor temp, fanspeed + more in osd. And even set your fans behavior . My card do get hot aswell , especially in act 2´s green areas (82-85 dgr celsius and 90% fanspeed)

Driver Version: 8.17.12.8026

I did change driver to 8027 beta when 8026 gave me some screen artifacts.
Good luck

You did try turning vsync on as well, right?
yep
I used to have similar fan speed problems with my twin 9800gtx+'s until I removed all the dust and fibre build up from inside my pc. I also redid the thermal grease/paste between my cpu and it's fan.
like im gonna get around to doing that -_-

...You really ought to.
That OEM card is known to run pretty hot. If it's getting that hot on PoE which isn't that intense, I suggest either getting a new card or at the very least, cleaning it out and maybe adding a bit of new thermal paste.

Lowering your resolution will help too.
i just got this computer couple months ago and the vid card is alrdy outdated? T_T
