Making a thread increases chances to get into beta?

I saw a post saying it increased chances by 10...
Is this true?

Guess we'll find out!
It was mentioned that if you posted you have 10 times more chance of getting a key. Not threads.

If making threads do count, then it looks like the forum is going to get flooded with new threads every minute from now on. That's a bad idea.
So makin a post increses your luck 10 times?
Awesome!
+1 then :)
Well don't count on it too much though. Some managed to get beta keys without posting or logging into the forums regularly. If there's one thing you need for a key, it's called, patience.
Your luck skill has increased by (10)
thats not true, 75% of players getting beta key on the timer are inactive... for a long long time, players from jan, feb

That doesn't make it untrue, it just implies that there are more inactive accounts for the timer to select than there are active.
Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.

well, they would want to invite people who would actively use the beta pass, and if they post in the forum they are probably more likely to help them

I'm pretty sure that's the exact reasoning for the increased chances of winning for forum posters.

This. But it's slightly worrying that these inactive accounts are causing genuine players who want to give real feedback so much grief and suffering.
