Is This Game Still Unplayable Due To Desync?

On the other hand, if people don't post about desync (yes, including those whine threads), it might lead to the false impression that it's not that big of a deal. Out of sight, out of mind and all that. I'm hoping that that little twinge of frustration/pain/shame the devs see whenever they see another person posting about desync (even if they're just saying how shitty a game it is because of it) is enough for the issue to occupy at least a little bit of mindspace as they go about their days making more content.

Remember, devs see thing differently than players. What looks to us like somebody having a fit over something we've long been numb to, might look like a sad case where their creation has worked to add frustration and anger to another's life, instead of satisfaction and enjoyment.

Or you know, they could all be laughing at how deeply we're all thinking over this while they budget out more glowy, shiny microtransactions and figure, "as long as the MTX income is coming, we don't really need to give a fuck".

Don't use half of the games skills

Don't use/run thru/use skills to go thru/move and attack/ETC in anything that looks or is a doorway or an opening that is small

Don't think you will pick any item up that click so click it at least 2 times because it most likely won't pick up the first time

Don't run from or to any monster trying to attack you (facetank them all)

What else...? i know im forgetting some i just can't think!

Upon entering a map immediately hold down SHIFT and never move at all!
The mobs will find you eventually.

Pretty much this ^

If we don't complain on the forums, then how will all the noobs be warned about desync? Even more so, if we don't keep at least 1 desync thread on the front page of General Discussion, the devs will think that no one's experiencing desync anymore, and that their shitty game magically got better overnight!

Desync everywhere so why "warn noobs" on the forum in your huge act of chivalry? They'd see it immediately once they log in.

One would think that the developers have development plans and roadmaps they follow throughout the whole ongoing development process. You imagine how it would look like if a studio of 20+ people develop a game in a different way? If they integrate a substantial update on client action synchronization, they will let their fans now for sure. Then there can be new, constructive feedback supplied.

Until then it stays development priority aside content production because continuous development costs money and without content the players currently enjoying the game will get lost faster. That sure would fund this game with it's F2P model.

Honestly, I don't blame you guys. I can see your behavior especially with the numerous cases of bad publishing and F2P milking machines we got lately but the model of funding GGG chose let them way less freedom to screw with their playerbase in a dickmove other Studios would easily be able to. Judging them on the same case is barely warranted, especially as they even let us know precisely what is the issue at hand regularly.

We could discuss how some of them did it, but it would probably not be constructive, and might violate some forum rules.

Strange how that works eh?

Violate forum rules? Better crack down!
Completely invalidate the ladder and any sense of integrity the game had? Meh.
