Game updating at 0 B/s, stuck at 0.0%

Hey GGG Support team.

With the release of the 10.0.e patch, I went to update the client to find that the download process would never initiate, staying at a constant 0.0b/s and never progressing past 0.0%. I left it for a fair amount of time, around 30 minutes, and still there was no progress. I decided to do a complete uninstall and just to simply download the game again.

Even after doing this I am having the exact same problem whilst trying to download the entire game file. Currently I have left the game downloading for 2 hours and I've progressed to 464kb/s out of 5.10GB, where the 464KB's were downloaded in 2-3 small busts of 100B/s activity.

I have disabled my anti-virus software and firewall in order to see if that's what causing the issue but it doesn't seem to be the case as there was no speed difference. Does any of the support members know what the issue could be? Or any fellow members had a similar issue which they were able to resolve? I've searched around for similar problems but I haven't seem any solutions crop up.

So I let is go over night for the last 4 hours and I ended up receiving this error.



It looks like there may be a problem with my specific connection, but it's pretty hard for me to take my computer to a different connection to download it. Is it possible to download the contents, store it on a USB disk and transfer it over to my computer? Or would that simply not work?

Another update here. I decided to test out a different internet connection by using my iPhone's personal hotspot and using my mobile internet connection as my only source of internet access. When I did so it was downloading straight away and it seemed to work. The only problem with it though is that my iPhone has a 2GB maximum download limit so I cant use it to download the whole game installer. And if my internet connection is having issues downloading the game due to connection issues with the PoE updating server, then how can I guarantee that it will be able to run the game anyway? If it's possible I'd really like to know why it just suddenly stopped working and whether or not there was an internal change which caused my connection to not read any data from the updating server. Prior to the 10.0.e patch I could download updates and play the game without any issue.
