Summoner Atziri v. 1.1.3

Without snapshot, summoner is a mediocre build after the pseudo nerfs. None of the gems really do anything meaningful. Zombies are weak. Raise Spectral, Animate Weapon, Animate Gaurdian, ALL WEAK. So to think a Summoner can do Atziri? LMAO.



Snapshotting isn't fixed (...yet).
I can run full iiq/iir build (excluding the gems) and still have 100% dmg output. I do not agree on summoners being weak as i can do any map mod excluding "no regen + BM" at a decent speed. The only thing im complaining about is how the abilities Atziri does seems for now, to be impossible to make the minions survive.


(I still havn't had time to test the Necromantic Aegis + Saffels, i will also get my Empower gem on the Purity of Fire as well as Bone Offering to test it out, after some brief calculations i think it will be enough to manage that phase.

After you have maxed our zombies resistances and given them spellblock, how many hits before they die?

How often do you need to re-summon?

How many of the normal fire blasts / storm calls can they take?

MY question is our of the topic but does Remote Mine still boost minions and all damage support gem while summoning?

I heard it from a guildie that it doesn't anymore.

Honestly i don't know for sure, but i find it hard to believe they will do that insane dmg without Remote Mine summoning working.

I'm about to do the test today. I will keep this thread updated with my tries.
for me the biggest question is: how will summoners perform once snapshotting is fixed. i read they want to address this problem sooner than they thought.

Test 1 done!



Due to the logical reason of me running around like a headless hen it was hard to calculate how many hits they survive, however i did bring a Ruby Flask to make me able to cast a few spells whilst taking 1 flameblast to make things easier.
I havnt solved the issue of resummoning my zombies as they cost more than i have even after turning of 1 of my auras. This is something i will change for my next try.



Atziri: 50% hp left when i died -- 25% hp left when my zombies died. (Sadly i got hit by flameblast no matter what i tried when entering after that death so could not finish her of, the time i did get through my zombies killed themselves on the Mirror Clone)



Will do another test with the possibility of resummoning. (1 zombie had died when i died)


Allow me to add most of my support gems are still not with quality.

Again, this is slightly off-topic, however, if they do fix snapshotting it will only affect my zombies with a few % dmg that is additive as well as 500 armor and 2% life regen.
I would be forced to remove 1 aura permanently to have somewhat of what you could call decent evangelists.
But i think i speak for all summoners in this society when i say that when (not if) they fix snapshotting, they will make sure we are still playable (maybe buff minion nodes, or add more minion nodes...? )
I will commence with test 2 now, i've switched out my vulnerability curse for Warlords Mark for that extra survivability to my zombies.
