On the skill tree, you go down to the road near Unwavering Stance without taking it. I feel like it's a waste of points. You can just go straight up to Warrior Blood just by using 3 points then get damage nodes elsewhere. Maybe maurauder starting area with a lot of melee physical nodes.

I was going there to get that AoE in the Bloody Blugeon cluster... but I think you're right, we could respec out that area and do something like this:

Morning, I did some tests and it appears we can easily do a mana leech-based 1h/shield version. With just 2% physical leech and after cutting Grace we'd end up with: - 5,100-5,200 life endgame speaking, - 42,000-43,000 dps, - 56-65% block (depends whether your BoR is legacy), - 12,000 armor. In your BoR instead of Blood Magic we'd pick Added Fire Damage. Tooltip DPS at level 88, with still some physical nodes needed (and a better amulet):  Pros: - lowers the cost of this guide by 3-4ex, - increases defenses against physical attacks (block), Cons: - less dps (and clear speed). Minor update to the 1h/shield version, Tempest Shield added for more block, so now the block is 60% in temp leagues and 69% in perma leagues (with legacy BoR).

I'm playing in Bloodlines lvl 65 trying static strike 1h/shield version.
My question is: How important are iron reflexes? I have got that keystone on almost all of my duelists in POE but I am reading that armor is not that great. Is it worth to invest the points into it ? I kinda feel strange playing with 17% armor at lvl 65. Used to have like 40-50%. But maybe I was playing incorrect all the time. My highest character was lvl 90 reave duelist in beyond so I'm not an expert with the mechanics. I don't plan to do any crazy things like ubers are anything danagerous just maping to lvl 90 I think and not getting killed :) |
