posting item images on forums

How do people post images of their items on the forum? Seen people do it in the trading forum, but not sure how to do it.

Open a post reply or new thread screen.
Click on your character at the top left of your screen. Open to where the item is you want to link. Left ctrl click on the item and it should be linked.
