Can i do anything to salvage this?

I did not know that you can't use jewe orb after item becomes corrupt. Did i screw the item up?

yep,you did,no way to remove corruption as far as i know :/
Tbh you didn't end up that bad,it could of screwed up the stats them selves so bad that even vendor wouldn't take it ^^
I saw someone messing up Marohi erqi or whatever it was called (the big red 2h unique mace) he went from high-roll unique to vendor trash rare.

You can fix it but it will cost roughly a chaos. Buy another.

ya its fucked. You dont want to corrupt an infernal mantle anyway imo, the spelldamage implicit is better than something like anti knockback.
