Three Dragons + Cold damage can ignite + double dip bonuses

When fire damage ignites, all fire% damage double dips in that it raises the damage you do for the initial hit and raises the burning damage that the ignite that follows it does.

I was curious as to if Three Dragons makes your cold% damage double dip for burning. Obviously things like Elemental Damage would still work.
No, it says 'your cold damage can ignite', it doesn't change burning from fire damage over time to cold damage over time. Any cold damage bonuses you got will increase initial amount of burning damage that ignite does, but they won't increase burning damage too.

Yeah, elemental damage is your best bet for this. Not sure why would you want to do it, though, fire has more hard hitters than cold, you gain little advantage, unless you just want to do it for the hell of it.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Arctic Breath hits harder than just about any fire skill other than a stacked flameblast or Explosive Arrow now, and it can also be trapped (and works better trapped for this spec, too, due to targeting) to take advantage of the High Explosives passive - EA can do this too, but Flameblast can't.

Actually managed to 1 shot most mobs switching out my 20/20 firetrap to a 16 arctic breath. Mind you, it was a low life build so damage numbers can get pretty high easily.

Haven't really checked it, but if they made arctic breath stronger than fireball that's the ultimate balancing fail, fireball has no special properties, just raw damage.

fireball is still stronger than arctic breath by itself, FB has more crit and has ignite damage. The only reason you would consider AB stronger in this instance is because the unique helm is giving AB the ignite damage. Under normal circumstances it's not stronger
IGN: OldManBalls (Warbands)
Or you can use Ice Spear, and scale it with insane Crit Multi, since it has nearly 100% Crit in its second stage (guaranteeing Ignite.)

Ice Spear
Added Cold Damage
Cold Penetration
Increased Critical Damage
Elemental Proliferation
Life Leech / Increased Burning Damage (same colors, interchangeable :P)

Is probably what I'd go with..
