Who else hates their fps?

Well, as always, Path of exile got wreaked with unoptimized things. witch is sad, I can barely play even solo without my fps bar looking like this.
 Old picture I made, but nothing changed...no point making a new picture...this is literally what my fps bar looks like no mater were i am, only time its not as bad is town but i still have SOME areas in town were I am at 35 fps instead of my max ( 75fps on this screen 180~ fps without vsync.....) I encourage people to PLEASE post there computer specs and maybe your DxDIAG (I think your specs might be in dx not sure.), maybe we will find something we all have in common? because GGG hasent and wont do much about this until they have sold/made enough cosmetics. not trying to hate I use to love this game, but how can I love something barely playable, having 3fps evry 5mins during big fights is beyond frustrating its just boring and will end up making people quit, why I say so? because tons of people already quit for this reason... half the people I know play on EXTREME low graphic on great computers for TINY fps boosts.... So... I wont enjoy the game until I can play without such RIDICULOUS FPS drops. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- skills that seem to lag people the most

performance for all games ( for games on the ssd ofc. ) exept poe...reduced my loading times...I hoped my hc was making me drop in fps, but it didint so dont buy SSD just because of this. This game's optimization somewhat sucks, I wish GGG would focus on that more, or at least allow us to disable some graphical element that disturb the gaming experience ( but we know that it's not happening since they don't want to change the atmosphere even if that means that many players cannot play smoothly ).
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Same here.
Although my specs are weaker, mine is a mid range laptop. AMD A6 quad core 1.5 GHz with turbo to 2.4 GHz. 4 GB RAM Dual graphics, but the Radeon 7670M runs the business. Texture quality on 8 (graphics worse than D1, a lot worse), yet still lag spikes during some spells and constant lag in party with "laggy" skills (LA, Fireball, even Heavy Strike, etc...). All drivers up to date, Windows freshly installed (I thought this might be the problem). Doing D3 on mid settings on 40+ constant FPS, that also means will all kinds of spells when in party with 3 wizards, etc. The main thing, constant 40+ FPS, averaging on 50-55. I've got 2 friends that abandoned PoE because of lag, and they have specs like you and better. Battlefield 4 on ultra, D3 on ultra, etc... PS: Now await for munkytos and similar guys. |

That is my lower end (I have better ones mostly used for work) desktop that can still run this game in most areas, and I still consider it well below the real minimal specs this game requires. I think even on the lowest settings that taking a full team and walking into a shocked twinned palace map would cause it to burst into flames. |

I'm not really having problems with fps per se, but when major new things appear, my screen just freezes for 2-3 seconds, which easily can get you killed. in fact, that's the #1 reason why i get killed by far. i can't even think of trying out HC.
things that cause screen freezes: - almost any first appearance of a boss - pack of certain blue monsters, especially voidbearers - discharge - skeletons - everything in the sceptre of god (boy, that thing is unplayable) - ... joining a party is mighty annoying, because for the next 5 minutes you're constantly freezing on every skill use. CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (clocked at 2800MHz while less than 3 cores in use) GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7750 (rather low end, but mostly fine i play on Linux with wine, but performance on Windows is not significantly better.
