Skill Name: Hero never gets the girl.
Target: Are of Effect
Description: In order to fight another day you calmly walk backwards, making it obvious that you have no quarrels with the enemy while others valiantly (and foolishly) continue fighting.
Visuals: Character walks backwards slowly with hands in the air shaking their head.
Sounds: Eye of the Tiger sound clip
Flavour text: There is no I in team but there is a me.

Skill name: Rain Dance

Target: Area of Effect

Description: When cast, enemies in the range gets a cloud of rain over their head for 15 seconds. The rain makes lightning damage more effective to them.

Visuals: Your character does a flicks his fingers in the air and does the moon walk in the area he wants to target

Sounds: When you cast the spell you hear the *sizzle* sound followed by a loud *Owe* sound.

Flavour text: you're about to wet yourself

Skill for the Duelist

Skill name: Counter Attack (A defensive + offensive skill)

Target: (self)

Description: When cast, the Duelist quickly prepares to defend himself and strike at the enemy's weak point. (Duelist prepares to counter the next melee attack for the next second)
(20% chance to fully negate damage/ 80% chance to reduce damage by 50%)
(Ability does 200% damage with a 15% chance to stun)

Visuals: Raises his sword horizontally in front of him and a quick flash of his sword when the skill is successful.

Sounds: A quick unsheathing sound when cast and a 'clang' sound of 2 swords colliding when it fully negates damage or a small grunt from the duelist when he gets hit

Flavour text: says 'Too weak' when successful.

Not sure if good skill b/c I'm obviously not in the beta and have little knowledge of the game.
Skill name: Lumins melody


Target: self


Description: Gives caster faster casting speed, increased aoe and more damage. When you use the skill first you press the button where it is placed. Then you play right song with buttons Q,W,E,R,T. You can have various songs attached as support gems.


Visuals: Character plays sojmeking musical iinstrument.


Sounds: Song that you play.


Flavour text: Would be so funny to see Lumin to fail playing song named after him in PoE.
Skill name: Tremors

Target: Caster-centered AoE

Description: When cast, The earth itself shifts beneath the feet of the caster, sending an expanding circular wave that makes the nearby enemies lose their balance, lowering their dodge and accuracy ratings. This could last several seconds. Alternatively, the effect could be stronger and shorter.

Visuals: Think of water, when you drop something into it. The wave would be smooth like that, not jagged at all. Surreal feeling.

Sounds: Think deep here. something moving in the deeps. No explosions, no ripping. More of a bending metal underwater.

Flavour text: "Did you feel that? There's something wrong with the earth..."

Skill name: Black Hole
Target: enemy
Description: Sucks in your target, dealing X dmg over Y seconds. Spits the Target out on final Tick.
If the Target dies within the Black Hole Loot is destroyed aswell!
Visuals: A Black Hole Spawns above the Targets head, the enemy Spins around it ridiculously and gets sucked in.
Then the Blackhole grows and sinks to the Ground and goes poof, releasing the Enemy.
Sounds: A harsch windy, slightly eerie sound.
Flavour text: So that's the place all those Beta-Keys went.

Skill name: Wall of Swords

Target: Instant (Self)

Description: When cast, creates a wall of swords around the caster. Any enemy that comes into contact with the wall, will suffer damage. Parts of the wall can be attacked and destroyed. The wall does not move with the caster, but the caster takes no damage from the wall and is able to destroy a part of the wall with a single hit, to either let monsters in or to escape himself (i.e. the ability can be used both offensively and defensively).

Visuals: A deadly, razor-sharp mass of all sorts of different blades and swords is risen from the ground. Dirt and dust flies. (Perhaps it would look a bit like the Bone Wall ability of Diablo II's Necromancer?)

Sounds: Some sort of slashing when enemies come into contact and/or when the wall is attacked. When created, some rumbling and the scissoting sound of blades rubbing against eath other.

Flavour text: "Come and get me!"


Additional Idea: Perhaps the swords could be launhed outward by using the skill again as in first click would create the wall and second click launch it. Would make it much more offensive.

Skill name: Spirit Fingers
Target: Self Buff
Description: Turns into a 15 yearold teenage cheerleader with deadly spirit flowing through her fingers. Gains unlimited health and MP and 100% strength for 8 seconds with a 2 min CD.
Visuals:Turn into a 15 yearold cheerleader for 8 seconds with fingers full of deadly spirits.
Sounds: The seductive tones of a cheerleader saying EVERYONNE OK, SPIRIT FINGERS GO!!!
Flavour text: I'm bout to spread poopdust all up in ya placement...

Skill name: Tempest Strike
Target: Targeted Enemy Unit (possibly also ground)

Description: When cast, your character instantly charges at target enemy (+ location), dealing X% weapon damage to any enemies you pass through, as well as X+Y% weapon damage to the target. If you critically hit, the cooldown on this skill is reset. This skill has a Z% increased chance to critically hit.

Visuals: Gusts of air at the start of the charge, as well as a small screen shake / tremble when you stop, to really illustrate the power and speed you are zooming around with :)

Sounds: The sound of a strong gust at the beginning of the ability, and the sound of a normal attack but with added "forcefullnes" (think thunder) when you strike the target enemy unit.

Flavour text: I am the oncoming storm.

Picture would be the silhuette of a man engulfed in strong winds with a weapon drawn in front of him, as to illustrate the final pose of the dashing attack.

The concept of this ability is of course that early game it is a nice initiating ability, but as your crit, skill and weapon damage reach higher levels, you can zoom around the battlefield thanks to crits resetting cd, with X% cleave while hitting hard on the main target. :)

The possibility of being able to target ground would make it usable for transport, but would also be kind of annoying if you misclick and dont hit any Main enemy target :P Which is why i made the () :)

Skill name: Cork
Target: Small area of effect at the cursor
Description: Prevents all Rock Flingers in the Area from shooting rocks at you.
Visuals: Small corks above affected enemies
Sounds: Makes a plumpf kind of sound, with sinister laughing
Flavour text: Can't rock my world no more!
