so ive been playing around with flameblast and i always noticed enemies not suffering from ignite/burn
why is this? should i use chance to ignite or something? thanks | |

Ignites will only occur if you get a critical, or gain chance to ignite through other means. So if you're not building crit and you want your flameblast to burn enemies, then yes you should use chance to ignite.

You need to crit to burn with any fire damage. You can also get chance to ignite from the passive skilltree(5%) or the chance to ignite gem.

Quality Flameblast has the chance to ignite as well.

Flammability will also give 10-14% chance to ignite and lower fire resistance by 30-49%. It is a good curse to use with it, if they don't have fire/elemental resistance then it increases the damage.
