Inner grounds vaal boss

So recently I went to the vaal side area in the imperial gardens (Inner grounds) it was fine until i got to the boss. Its a huge avian retch that spawns other (little) avian retches with its shots and its melee attacks is super fast and one hitted me several times. while admittedly I was under geared, had not very good resists and only 50% dmg reduction from armour it was completely impossible even with a party. So how have you guys done against the boss?

Found him in Tidal island at cruel as an invasion boss. Hit me for 90% of my hp. Nope'd out. The trick is to not kill his adds cause he has soul eater affix.

50% damage reduction on char sheet means nothing
Use corpse explosion on the corpses, have a strong attack and focus on him. If he is too strong, it is ok to skip. |
