Wanna start off by saying this build is a lot fun to play.. so thank you.

Would you rather have a 4L +1/+2 OR a 5L +2? I'm a baller on a budget.

I have a 4L atm with +1/+2 with quality gems ranging from 12-16 (poison arrow, concentrated effect, pierce, slower proj)

oh, and why did you try to corrupt a few of your gems? IDK maybe you bought them like that.

I didn't buy any gems besides level 1s for an alc other than my Level 4 Empower. They were all leveled and Vaal'd by me. In general, I corrupt the ones where a positive corruption would make a noticeable impact.

1.) Carcass because it's the cheapest and the 20% area helps a lot

2.) +2/+1 Bow

3.) Drillneck - luxury item, can just slot something else for Pierce until you acquire

Okay so Im 74 now. Everything is going smooth, blazing through 68 maps with my lvl 17 PA which is more than I wished from this build. got a bunch of other PAs leveling in off slot to vaal later.

Anyways I got a q regarding the passive tree, this is my current one:

Which would yield more dps, the DoT nodes and + CHaos dmg ones above ghost reaver or the projectiles dmg ones below it ?

The other choice would be some HP nodes but I dont feel the need for it with MoM+AA+Zombies and 4k Hp.

All of the damage types form the tree impact the damage equally, it's really just the quantity that matters. So for DPS - you'd want to prioritize the Corruption circle next.

I am currently lvl 53 and enjoying the build very much, although i do have a few wonderings i would like to share with you.

A) Why not use Voltaxic rift bow? - Is it that crucial that you use a +1/+2 gem bow?

B) Why do you take evasion rating instead of grabbing iron reflexes? - Is it to make sure that your mana stays efficient?

I hope you can enlighten me a bit.

Voltaxic would be awful for the build - not even sure why you would want to use it. The single biggest factor in your cloud's damage is gem level. So a plus level bow helps poison arrow, volt does not. I could care less about any on hit damage as I generally shoot the ground for optimal cloud placement. But the point really is + levels are better than anything else that exists on any bows in the game in terms of scaling Poison Arrow's damage. I'd take a bow that does 0 damage it's irrelevant as the build uses the Cloud to kill everything which is 100% independent of any on hit damage.

In terms of Evasion versus IR, I simply prefer the Evasion/Ondar's combo to the 7 or 8k Armor I'd have with IR. But it's just preference the build could probably work with IR. Since you are asking, is there a reason you prefer Iron Reflexes to Evasion?

Currently following your guide very closely. I am playing in Beyond league. Things have been going very smoothly so far. I am fairly new to the game, and have been seeing many people saying a CWDT IC setup is almost mandatory for HC. Do you have any input on what a good CWDT IC setup would be for this, and what gems would you recommend removing if I decided to add this CWDT setup?
First off - Kudos on the Rearguard. I think that's an intelligent swap for Drillneck playing in Beyond. And nice gears in general. You may be a new player, but you definitely "get it" when it comes to what this build is trying to accomplish.

Most of the CWDT I see are CWDT > Enduring Cry > Immortal Call > Increased Duration. The purpose is so that when you take hard physical damage like those leaping frogs or Roa charged, you become invulnerable to a second consecutive attack. However, in this build there really is no room for it, and given the multiple layer of defenses I am not sure it's needed. You may just have to be more diligent in keeping your Zombies up.
