I don't know for 4L Soul mantle. Searched a little and it seems to go easily for 1 exalt. Nevertheless, if you ever come across a good guide, I'll evaluate it. If it's very cheap, I'll add it now in the very cheaps builds section. Otherwise, I'll add it later when I'll do the cheap builds section.

Explosive arrow is probably the cheapest, and easiest build to gear up....

4 link quill rain... costs 1 chaos, spend 8 chaos on a decent quality EA gem, 1 chaos to buy the rest of the gems.


I posted this in another thread. It's an old video but still valid for "cheap build"

Showing a catacombs run with 4 link set-up no quality on gems.

Terrible gear (less then 3ex worth), leveled from 62-78 doing these runs. Clearing a 67 zone in 3-4 minutes as a 62 is highly effective (domination). Only reason I say the gear is so expensive is because i'm using a non linked carcass jack in the video, which is a "luxury" lol.

NOTE: I use a custom build, and I was also quite drunk during the recording. So my display of the build mechanics are off.

Easily able to progress into maps, as it can solo almost any combination. Sadly I do not have time to post a build, but just throwing it out there.

Done the same thing for myself, and from what I've found two builds can be done with little to no currency:

Scion/Witch:

p.s. I think it is better to introduce strong skills not specific builds to beginners, for the stronger a skill the less requirement equipments and tree passives it needs. A new player that starts with ST is always better than starts with Cleave. I still remember the frustration when my first FP char got into Merciless content...

You are right, soul mantle can be found cheaper than I think. So this build seems to fill the bill. I'll keep my eyes open for a guide. If you come across one, please let me know.

AA/MoM/EB incinerate builds are pretty cheap. They need scion though so I guess the violate the for beginners part?
