Ha, I meant that you didn't need to trade with other players. Ya I agree that I enjoyed not having to deal with MF. I do not remember helm of spirits, are you sure you have the name right? Obsidian Zod would be pretty hard to find but you could at least find something nearly as good like Jade/heavens or Jade/zodiac. You can always keep looking for higher values but at least you could get stuff on your own pretty well.
Edit: I didn't remember helm of spirits because its one of those weaker uniques that you don't really have any need to grind for.
