About 1000 fusing orbs later...
" 6 linked item worth like 20+ exalts, do you realize how much time you need to farm areas for currency to get those ? Of course you will say *I do, I can trade gear for it too and get 20 exalts in one day* pffft I believe people starts to 6 link nice items with good rolls. If you buy a blank 6 link you again getting back to gamble, to spawn nice rolls on it. If I dont reply to you - I dont give a flying duck about your opinion
If you dont reply to me - I dont care either because I dont come back to see who replied to me |

" it is a matter of which is more valuable, and frankly a white 6l for 5- 6 exa is a much better value than having to waste 4000 fusing linking a perfect and often unnecessary armor piece. i can spend under an exa getting a pretty decently rolled 6l armor piece in chaos orbs. that is a fraction of what it would cost to roll fusing into a 6l. |

How about storing the number of orbs (per type) applied to a given item, and power-altering the never to be sufficiently damned probabilities accordingly (at some point, at least - how about the so-called bleeping 'average')?
Would that really ruin the 'experience'? Would it, really? E.g. if the average be a 1000, would bringing about near-certainty by 1500 really, really, 'ruin' the game? Mmmm? Some twit was yakking about the awesome-joyousness of 'randomness': do you NOT grasp what that means? It means, Captain Oblivious, that after rolling 1000 orbs, you are EXACTLY as well off as when you started. Wonderful. Yay. Whoo-hoo. More yayness. 1000 fusing orbs? Sounds about right - and for what? NOTHING. Zero. Void. And THAT is the problem - the sheer, perfect, WASTE. The kind of thing only a hard-core dice-throwing RPGer could love: i.e. a hippie nihilist, who is happiest while contemplating his navel, while high on weed - and if only that image wasn't the actuality... If only I, also, hated myself so much, that I considered my time-spent to be worth utterly nothing. Then I would be oh so very happy burning through orbs. But, alas... I'm only a semi-serious player, granted, but I am so utterly put off right now I can barely keep this civil. I will, at the very least, stay a semi-serious player - my inner masochist it but a weakling compared to the titans found here. And I actually mean that - which is kind of the point I am trying to make, I guess: the unbearable pointlessness of playing with orbs. I have never played WoW, and have no intention of doing so: but apparently 'whiners' killed the game - those bleeps. It follows, of course, that Buggs Bunny likes purple bath-duckies - yes it does indeed. I also do not gamble - throwing money-slash-time away into a trash-disposal unit (that occasionally vomits some of it back to me) just doesn't 'do' it for me, ya know? Of course, this was purely for catharsis: Notch refusing, to this day, to (again) allow ice to melt into water in the Nether (and other assorted abortions), illustrates the utter irrelevance of non-fanboys. Ta-ta, and whatever. (If the content of this post violates rules of some kind, kindly just delete it - I really, really, do not care: just please do not start with the self-righteous nagging.) " The amount of currency you spend in trying to 6L an item is often far greater than just purchasing such an item in equal value that is 6L |

" In reality anyone who spends that much time on a video game is probably pretty lazy in real life. Oh and if you had gone through more than 2000 fusings and not obtained the 6L the title of this would more than likely be a bit different. " Do the 6-link items magically spawn from the air or some shit? The price of a 6-link is 1-3 exalts which is the cost of a tabulsa rasa. 6-links depending on their base is marginally higher until you hit ballar tier high ilvl high base 6-links in which people use to craft the most godly/top tier items. Economically there is no real reason to try to 6-link your shitty items unless you feel lucky because that same fusings can also 6-link a godly rare that doesn't have one. Trading will always beat out you doing it yourself unless it's on the most desirable items because I will always sell to you the less then desirable items better then you can make it yourself to get said fusings to try to 6-link my desirable item. IE I will sell my average 6-link for 25 exalts when the average is 30 exalts to make a 6-link to use thoses 25 exalts to try to make my godly 6-link worth 80+ Last edited by RagnarokChu#4426 on Feb 12, 2014, 1:12:32 AM

" And what player wouldn't want his progress in the game to depend 100% on luck? Right? 177

" Is that a loaded question? Because you don't need a 6link to beat the game and everybody knows that RNG is a giant ass part of ARPGs. |

" Sometimes they do. Looted this as white drop in a Shipyard map. My first and only so far (never really tried to 6L anything). When night falls
