Instance is not the owner's?

The text passed by quickly and I don't remember it precisely, but it's something containing the subject of the post.

I had a portal up to the Crematorium. I had gone back to town to sell and trade some items. I was there for maybe 5-7 minutes. I was then disconnected from the game, with a text message in the area where it reads "Connecting to login server..." and all that jazz telling me something about the instance not being the owner's.

I figured this must be some sort of bug considering I wasn't in an instance, I wasn't trying to enter an instance, I had my own portal up to the instance (mine only, haven't joined a party yet today), and was in town.

Anyone feel free to expand upon my thread if you have the same issue(s).

Same exact thing just happened to me a few minutes ago.

New lvl 4 character. Never joined a party ever.

Opened a portal back to town from the Terraces and got booted with this error message after a minute in Lionel's Watch.

This bug still isnt as annoying as being booted to log in screen on my main at least twice per hour of playtime.....

This happened to me today, when logging in with a character at act 3.

Just happened to me about 2 minutes ago.

Been getting this message off and on all day. Seems to keep kicking me in the middle of boss fights. First it was general now happened on Brutus on cruel.

"instance is not the owner of the account" - that's the exact message I'm getting.
I get this about once every 30.40 minutes, and it seems to happen very often while I dig through my stash while I have a portal open. About 20 minutes ago, I fought off some yellow mob in Chamber of Sins level 2, it dropped quite a few nice items, and since my stash was full I opened a portal and left a yellow item on the spot. While selling some loot to Greuss, I got the above message and got disconnected. Surely enough, when I logged back in the portal was gone and so was the yellow item, which I left there.

Now I don't care about one yellow item, but I was playing my level 19 duelist in a pretty rough area and since the waypoints were not yet discovered, now I have to go back through Old Fields / Crossroads / Chamber of Sins 1 / Chamber of Sins 2. That's the bigger issue since I can't play all day long and not care about 30 minute delays. These sometimes represent half of the total time I afford to play during a day.

There's no error in there, but maybe it helps.

This just happend to me. I was at marketplace, go to town instant crash. The instance is not the owner of the account.

Just happened the exact same thing, i was selling an armor while having a portal open and got disconnected with that message
