Increased DoT Damage Nodes and Fire Trap Burning Damage

Do the new increased DoT nodes in the passive tree increase the burning damage from Fire Trap? I'm guessing the answer is yes but wanted to confirm before grabbing the Entropy cluster north of the Shadow starting area. Thanks in advance for an answer.

Yes, Fire Damage over Time counts as Damage over Time :P

Well yes. It is after all the Trap that causes all the burning.
