What is the best way to level endgame?

I'm a 79 witch that has been running maps to gain exp, but it seems to take a while and I have to run lower level maps unless I'm lucky enough to have 70+ maps drop. Any suggestions on the best course of action for exp end game?

Make friends and either run their maps or buy maps to run.

Best thing to do is run maps. If you're going to run a lower level map, don't. Not unless you want the drops. It's better to take three maps and upgrade them up to something that will give you much more experience.

If you can't run maps, it's best to farm Merciless Catacombs for currency and occasionally the Large Chest. I know the Large Chest doesn't give you much, but it still increases the amount of currency you can get from each run.

At least you can farm for currency to rapidly gear up characters or get your six link faster, while you wait for maps to drop or opportunities to farm maps.

How do you take three maps and upgrade them?

You can vendor 3 maps to get a higher level one.

3 map name must be same ofc.

I would say run maps that are closer to your level instead. Running 66 maps at lvl 79 doesn't provide much exp.

At lvl 79 you get full exp from monster lvl 75-83 (Unless the 4 level difference has been changed) So 75 maps will yield full exp. Anything lower and exp penalty kicks in.

You can always join a map party if you only have low lvl maps. The price for a 75 map tends to be 1-2 chaos or so.

It's more than 4 levels. A level 79 character gains 100% exp down to to level 72 mobs.

I wouldn't run 66 maps, but you shouldn't end up having to run 66 maps. Even at lvl69 maps, you get 77% exp; it's good enough.

If you don't want to buy maps, the only way to get maps is to just run more maps.

I forgot the bonus you get for every 16 levels. At lvl 79 that is another 4 safe levels.
So at lvl 79 you would get 100% exp from lvl 72 maps and upwards like you say. I stand corrected :)
