Torture chamber map boss Shock and Horror Much harder after patch?

Failed miserably with a CoC-Char with 4.2k hp.

Killed him with my random semigeared flicker with 5.6k hp (almost pure hp).

5.6k isn't remotely close to being able to leechsustain with 77 lightning resist. had to take cover everytime his beam got channeled.

i would never do this boss in hardcore. one unlucky shockstun and you could easily be killed no matter how much hp you have.

I use to farm him well :_;

When people says "1 shot" "died in 2 sec" its more like 5 shot and 10 sec.

I actually find temple 71 piety to be harder than this boss.

Vs the torture chamber boss i can just walk around there and not take any damage. 75% spellblock with saffell is simply amazing.

You better be using tempest shield. Its op when dealing with channeled spell damage XD

Was able to tank boss with infinite flask, 20% life leech gem, over- capped resist and fairgraves hat.

Trick is to facetank thus avoiding beam and aoe the totems while tanking her. Not impossible.

Yeah you havent faced him since this patch then, because its a DoT beam and you can not spell block it.

My first ever attempt at Torture Chamber map two days ago:
(yes that's right, I have never done this map before...)

lvl 87 CI Facebreaker witch, 0% experience
3468 ES (yeah I really need a better chest...)
68/80/77/100 resists
32k dps with hatred
74/63 block with Aegis and the spell block necklace
5k armor
17k armor with granite
9% leech with blood rage

Map mods:
Ele reflect
94% extra cold dmg
some other stuff I can't remember but the two top are the worst


Died two times just to get to the boss, as I was expecting the boss to cast storm call, and wtf are the totems? (never done the boss u know...). First two times died as i went after the tittie bitches...

Third time I got serious and went straight after the boss.

Face tanked him just by popping the granites so my Aegis did the rest.

Also there were 4 tittie bitches shooting at me too.

That beam of death is epic.

Safe to say I'm not doing this boss again until I level.
