Numbers in character names?

I'm all for it looking like proper names, but it's actually quite difficult to pick names if you don't allow numbers.

true maybe allow special characters before numbers to keep the names from sounding like aol5.0

I think they should make it so you have to have a "Sir" name. meaning you need to have a space in your usename.(:

I was surprised to find out that underscores are valid characters yet numbers are not. So now I have an underscore in front of my name instead of a number at the end. I'm honestly not sure if this is better or worse...
