Fusing Horror Stories

Before the buff to 4 links/sockets chance I spent 27 fusings to get a 4link.

226 Fusings on boots I don´t already have them. (before patch with easier 4Ling)
And 2500+ jews no 6s on bow if it also counts here :D

Exactly my point. No one should be able to get a 5 link with one fusing. The mere fact someone can is why someone else has to spend 1000 and still not have success.

I once spent 17 fusings to 3 link a dagger. In some ways, that was worse than spending 100s/1000s trying to 5l/6l.

Took me somewhere around 80-100 fuse to 4L a pair of boots once.

And yes, the fact that people can get a 6L with 30 fuse or get a Kaom's while some other schmuck who plays 6hrs a day can't get a 5L and gets yet another shavs pace, is the one thing I truly have reservations about in this game. It makes you want to rage quit sometimes.

I honestly don't even want to think about fusing anything above a 4s. I have yet to even OWN a 5l let alone find one in game.

I'm bewildered some of you can even accumulate any more than 100 fusings.. I think I may have in total used around 50-60 fusings since Beta.. I could only dream of collecting hundreds. To then spend them all and have nothing to show for it? That's just crap.. I'm sorry.

I know people say "well rng is rng" as if that's supposed to make it fine.. it is what it is.. yeah, well what it is is an unrewarding system at the core. Tough to debate that.

There are numerous things they could do to make this portion of the game more rewarding, but they haven't done anything and at this point I doubt they will.

For me, trying to 5l anything is an afterthought when you can just accumulate some currency and buy it. Crafting in this game is pointless and dead imo, regardless of what people will say otherwise.
