Love the game, but wtf is with all the backtracking in Act 2?
I go waypoint hunting, trying to get through zones at the right level. Just having the waypoints available saves running through underlevelled areas.
To Cave, kill beast -> To crossroads waypoint, back to town -> Through riverways to dark forest waypoint (usually pretty close to entrance) -> Back to crossroads, chamber of sins -> Back to darkforest, weaver's chamber -> Western forest, Kill Alira and open passage -> Break Loratta, head through Caverns, into pools and streams Pretty linear from there, do Broken Bridge and Kraitlyn when I feel up to it Last edited by Sniperyeti#6263 on Nov 10, 2013, 5:56:35 PM

" In normal gameplay I clear the west side to get the extra skillpoint first. In a race, I usually get the western waypoint to get a level or so, and then clear sins before coming back an mopping up alira and the Weaver. Depends on what gear you get though. Also, I am pretty bad at races compared to the top-level players. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

" I find it rather depressing that only one person that quoted my post saw it as the joke it was. It wasn't an argument, it was blatant sarcasm. Last edited by xendhaius#0969 on Nov 10, 2013, 8:12:35 PM

Not just Act II. Backtracking in Act III is pretty bad too. So much so that it's taking the shine off of this game in a big way.
BTW, thanks for all the replies. You guys are pretty funny. |

" I agree, backtracking in Act III is worse than in Act II. One way to make it less annoying is to make sure you always get the quest items when you first get the chance; don't wait to get the quest and have to go back later. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
