Poll about new Darkness and Wild bundles

Decided to getthe Necrotic pack. Honestly if I didn't have this huge plethora of points I wouldn't have bought it.

The Necrotic Weapon effect, Ebony Footprints and Demon Hand Cleave skill are amazing though! It's a shame that cleave is nerfed so that nobody wants to use it but meh (kind of useless micro atm), whatcha gonna do? lol. The Ebony Scorpion pet and Twisted Horns are decent.

I think the Wild Pack is just bad though...

It would be nice to have a video of a character using each of these to see how they looked together.

These. I think making bundles with different content is a good thing, especially for non-supporters. For supporters, a lot of us already own a ( kiwi ) pet, and/or a weapon effect. There isnt anything else we can get for our points.

I know that even though i bought lots of stash tabs, i still had more than 50% of my points from the gold supporter package, and didnt really spend it on anything. Last thing i bought was the gore weapon effect. Perhaps different skins, or anything not involving pets or weapon effects might be of interest to supporters.

Hey, I love Path of Exile; its amazing - but there is one slight problem:

I want to spend money on it, but there is nothing I really want.

Stash Tabs are the most obvious choice, they are useful. So I bought a few, but I dont want to buy a million cos then I hoard everything. Making meaningful choices of what to keep is fun and feel like a basketcase.

Character Slots are a cool idea, but you get soooo many already, if I bought more, I would question why I have 10+ characters lying around under level 30. If worse comes to worse, I'll make new characters on my wife's account (whom never plays).

Pets: I bought a blue frog, I can't have more than one pet out, it's cool, but most of the time, whether I have it out or not, it doesn't seem to change my experience.

Appearance: Appearance is kinda cool, but I'm solo most of the time. Thing about ARPGs is getting items and wearing them to look cool rather than buying cool appearance and putting it on junk. If I got a green effect on my sword, I think - I found a poison sword and using it. But in this instance its more like, you started a new character and applied your viridian/emerald effect to your rusty sword. It makes the effect lose its appeal. Same with hats.

Heads: I probably would buy heads, but nothing here that strikes my fancy. Something simpler like long black hair on a Ranger might suit me, or maybe an eyepatch and a beard on the Shadow.

Problem with these ideas I imagine is beneath the massive amounts of spell spam, you won't notice it.

I really don't know. I've thought long and hard on it - there isn't much I came up with, but here are some ideas I thought of:

Alternative Genders/Models would be cool.
IE. I would pay (ideally around 10-15 dollars, tops 20-30) to play Maramoa (as a Marauder reskin).

Of course this is roughly the league of legends equivalent of a new skin, but the animations are probably less - seeing Path has hundreds of different weapons/skills to use - it might cost more, nonetheless, i can't see myself justifying over 30 dollars to buy a skin.


A Book

Strategy Guide/Artbook/Developer Interview, story - would love to read about how it happened, different versions and ideas of the game, concept art, all in a buyable book.

OTHER NOT SO GREAT IDEAS

Internal Kickstarter: (most likely a pain to setup legally, etc)

Optional Content to be put into a game, players could pledge money to make it happen, without having to fork out 1000+ dollars. When a piece of optional content reaches its total goal, then it happens, if it doesn't - obviously people didn't really want it that much.

Test a Build:
You buy a test character that allows you to set whatever stats and items in a solo only temporary league, try it on a map for a limited amount of time, then the character deletes at the end of the session.

I would rather spend my money on content that enhances my character and account, rather than aesthetic modifications.

When the stash tab bundles go on sale I will likely spend most of my points to increase my storage, and so increase my ability to trade. Independent of that, though, I don't really care about pets, and I already have weapon effects from the beta bundle.

I don't care about what my character looks like. I care about what my character does.

Let me buy chaos orbs. Let me pay to revive a dead Nemesis character. Let me pay to obtain skill gems, alchemy orbs, unique items.

I don't want to pay to win. I want to pay to enhance my character and account. Navigate that distinction, and you will have all my moneys.

I did not know about them. I already have the awesome lizard. I don't have a roa or cleave build.

Any pack containing a pet will not be worth my purchase because I will use my kiwi. So the saved money is actually not saved money since I'm only paying for everything else.

Just want to say I might end up buying one of the bundles later this week, but I also might wait for a new bundle that is to my interest....I do really like the bundle idea though I hope you guys sold enough of them for it to continue with future bundles. Also any news on Launch supporter packs, will you be doing these or no?

Because getting currency (and thus any item in the game) and immortality (contrary to the entire point of a hardcore league) isn't paying to win at all.
