Please make sure your speaking for yourself and not others. I find PoE more rewarding simply because I can make my own characters. I found the lauded customization in D3 to be really bad and just as bad was how they handled the uniques which had to be severely overhauled and will be overhauled again in the future because they aren't even that unique now. Trading is a pain in PoE right now but at least it will get better soon, AH will always be horrible.

It's not like we are hating on D3. But when they say that D3 is better than PoE, then we have to respond, because that is outright lying :p
D3 is worth the $60 that is for sure, but it's not what it should have been, and PoE is just a better game. No hating, just truth.

Thankfully there are alternatives.
This sums it up sooo well. And of course, they also went the WoW-route in terms of level cap and items.
Pre Reaper of Souls: Everything below level 60 is worthless crap that won't get you anywhere.
Post Reaper of Souls: Every item you found so far will be worthless crap that can be replaced by level 70 white items.
Already seen screenshots with 3k dps weapons, D3x going to be another Reaper of Wallets.
D3 was the biggest disappointment I had in my gaming career, and that after waiting over 10 years. :(
