zombie aggro distance.

It seems a bit too small now. they dont always see enemies that are on my screen if i dont come to those enemies a bit closer.
I have runes, potions and total disregard of public safety.
This is intentional - minions which follow you, such as zombies, count their aggro radius from you rather than themselves, so that they'll protect you more and disengage to follow when you back off and move away. This was also the case before 0.9.12, but 0.9.12 did reduce the aggro distance itself to make this more usable.

However, the other change made in 0.9.12 is that if you're currently performing an action, they'll count their aggro distance from around the location you're targeting - so if you're shooting a want, or even uselessly punching the air with a shift attack, or anything of the sort, they'll got attack what you're attacking. So if you start performing actions targeted where you want them to go, they'll attack things there until you stop, giving you better control of them.

Does it means that in every action you do, minions will check for enemies in a radius around it, and attack move?

No, it means that whenever zombies check aggro, they'll check whether you're performing an action at that time, and if so, use that action's target as the centre of their aggro search. If not, they'll use you. It doesn't cause them to check their aggro any more often than they usually would (basically between each action)

Note that 'movement' is an action targeted at where you're moving to, so as soon as you start movement, zombies will be looking to get in the face of any monsters near where you're going to be, rather than just following you, meaning they wouldn't actually be getting there until after you had and they'd noticed that.

It still looks stupid when theres a ranged mob in almost mid screen, an zombies just idle around and let them be shoot.

Calculate aggro Radius = (max ranged mob range) + (zombie idle distance from player)

Or make zombies aggress if attacked. (more coding needed, not recommended)

As they will teleport to you when they are too far when you move away, theres no problem with that.


AND, big AND:

Totems aggro radius seems to be just the zombie aggro radius, no more ice spear sniper totem, much less usability for totems in general.

Bad thing IMHO, please note if bug or intended, thanks!
