What happens when you delete someone off friend's list

Hello,

I deleted someone off my friend's list and would like to know the following:
Will they still have me on their friend's list?
If they do will I always show up offline?

I had unfortunate events and it was best to not stay in contact with them.

you stay on there list till they remove you, you can add anyone to your list if they accept or not.
