How do you get a beta key?

Is there a signup for a lottery?

Is it random?

Would love to get a beta key to try this game out....how do I accomplish that?

Every account is included in the lottery.

You can participate in events, check the forum everyday and participate in them. Even you can wait, to see your name on the timer. Every 30 minutes one random and one veteran is chosen to participate in the Closed Beta.

Also, forum users (which just means you have to have at least 1 forum post) are supposed to have 10x more chances of getting an invite.

Keep in mind there is a pretty overwhelming amount of non-forum users so that 10x increase might not seem like it's in effect but it's kind of hard to be conclusive.
