You can't. And even if you live, you still go to Void League, and you still can't retrieve anything. Items found in Descent are only good for the race in question; after the race ends or you die, the items are lost forever. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. How come? Every other race lets you keep the items you get (I have only played 4'ish so far, so don't quote me on that), this means even through I currently suck at those races being a noob, at least I get some gear out of them. These races aren't to gear up; they're to make the best use of what you get, while you play. That's the whole point, and is why you get specific set drops as well as whatever the mobs provide. No trading, no NPC's, good drop rates (don't say you hadn't noticed). If only the rest of PoE were like it... I'm not leaving void league 'til I'm #1 on the ladder. also, maybe this is totally off the wall crazy, but if your entire goal is to pile up mad lootz maybe just ###### play your ###### regular character instead of running around at lvl 2 in a race with your shabby ###### jerkin.
