New Unique Effect?

Well I thought I was gonna see something awesome like in Diablo 3 with that huge gamma ray beaming down! Buuut I found a unique and didn't notice anything new.. did I miss something? I was praying they'd do something cool with this but I have yet noticed anything different other than the sound when the unique dropped... | |

I didn't even realize there was supposed to be a visual effect. I just noticed the new sound as well, thats it.

Yeah it does seem to happen rather quickly, and if I lag/spike at the same time the unique drops (which seems to happen a bit) I don't see the effect.
It is a nice addition though, when you manage to see it. IGN: MrG.

I dropped my third Death's Harp and it was the sound and the name's color that made me see it.
Too bad for the visual effect :( I think it is better to let the orange beam until we loot the unique :D |
