Extremely low fps.

Lol. I'm running a Geforce 610M 1GB nVidia graphics card but my computer doesn't seem to pick it up. It seems to be using the on board graphics card, an intel(r) HD graphics card. Under options, the game doesn't let me choose another adapter. Guess how much FPS i'm getting? a whopping 14-15. AND I LOVE THIS GAME! stop crying about 30fps guys if i had FPS like that I could just die. It would be nice to play things other than summon witches though... I tried many things to get the nVidia card to override my basic graphics card, which is obviously underperforming the hell out of PoE. I tried updating the software on my nVidia, disabling the main graphics card ( I just black screened when this happened and had to restart) and my roommate even suggested i post on /g/ on 4chan. So far nobody has been helpful but i'm pretty much out of options. When I try to play Diablo III it seems to work fine, but tbh i can't go back to DIII. this game is better on 15fps than DIII is on 150fps.

Hello My path of exile is always running at around 25 fps.(nomatter what settings) In teamfights at around 9.
my hc character of lvl 28 died becouse of the fps rate :(
My specs are:
Intel core i7
Nvidea GT540.

Note. On my grafix panel and ingame my Nvidea card is selected but i'm still convinced its Nvidea optimus his fault becouse when i have problems its always nvidea optimus.


No idea what to do its playable in sc but not in hc.
PLZ help.

Phantazy online thingi doesn't alow me to adjust anything in mmy nvidea control panel (that never happend before)

Bumping this, since I kinda have the same problem, though only mostly when in a party for 6 people with a lot of screen action. Though I should be able to run the game comepletely, since its a tower pc with GTX 470?? I don't get why it cant run it, sometimes happens to other games as well, dont know why.

I'm experiencing the same problem, with the same graphic card. So far I tried both of your suggestions. Neither one works.
When I tried to set up a profile in nVidia settings, I was only able to "Add" the game (though it was telling me I'm trying to set up Phantasy Star Online 2 > weird, the path to the game was 100% correct; more to that, I don't even own the game mentioned). Everything else was "untouchable", I couldn't set anything else up.
Forcing the game to run with nVidia card by right clicking and selecting nVidia lead to a result nothing changed. Still low DPS, and in options still "Intel HD 3000" (that can't be changed).

I also have big some big fps problems my fps is around 20-30 if i do nothing or play alone (that is already low for doing nothing) but when i play with friends and they use spells like lightning arrow my fps drops to 6-8 any ideas how to solve this?

wondering ´cause SC 2 or Diablo 3 never lagged when it put it on lower settings put now i play PoE at complete trash settings and it still lags pretty badly :/

ahhh, can't really play the game with 5 FPS

Make sure FXAA is off in the nvidia control panel this makes a huge hit on my GT620.
