Am I interpreting this correctly?
Mercs are back (yay!) But are completely random with their gear (which you can reset in a future zone - sorta yay) Only Scion can make the most of them by allocating them set gear. Who is it in your team, that every time someone comes up with a great idea, comes along and says "nope, make it awkward and frustrating rather than enabling and enjoyable". |

" it´s a league mechanic people can farm (atlas tree, sell off mercs to others, etc.). don't get your pain. if you want them, find or buy, if you want to go all in, play scion, if neither of those two things is for you, enjoy your whatever build instead. like, what's the point. Gonna start scion for sure, if it turns out too goofy I just reroll. I am also curious how their comeback in group play´s gonna looks like. if you nerf 10 gems out of 30, you automatically buff the other 20!

" From what i saw, only scions new ascendancy can have permanent Mercs. The rest of the ascendancies can get them for a few maps/areas.
