What Happens When The Mirage League Ends

Sad to see Mirage go, i thought it was great.

Will the new mirage only drops be sticking around?

Im sad to see the new belts go. they were a nice alternative to the MB meta.

Very curious what's happening with:

Screams of the Desiccated Belt
Volatile Vaal Orbs
Coins of Skill, Knowledge and Power

Mirage was a banger league and the things above specifically kept me engaged in optimizing my build. Looking forward to the next, refreshing league. Thanks GGG

And the people that get their 40/40 in two weeks and bounce leaving the game empty. GGG really needs to consider methods for better retention and breakup of the power players & bots ruining the economy.

Wholly disappointing that Mirage isn't going Core. Seems like a massive oversight, to me, given the following/interest.

Currency from mirage will go core or legacy? Tbh all of them are powerfull, but beside all of the items and currency out there, the only thing to really take into consideration is the timeless jewell heroic tragedy in which is not a powerfull thing like the other special currency, but rather a build enabling item.

You don't know that. The belt can easily go into the core drop pool.

I hope it worthy of my first ever forum post here to say that I wish this mechanic had gone core.

I liked every feature that came from this league. The belts were a good chase item for juicers, and all the new currencies/enchanted items added a lot of variety to the things we farmed and sold. It was nice to have new items/currencies that were highly desired to chase.

Volatile Vaal's in particular were a great way to make uninteresting uniques have a potential use, and gave a good way to demolish over supply in the market of the higher value uniques (looking at you Rath Pith).

I hope that the announcement later this week gives us some good news for the currencies and enchanted stuff. But I am saddened by the loss of the other things confirmed in this post.

years ago hinekoras was league specific, they even said it's going legacy. then they ninja added to general drop. i believe same thing with desiccated and vaal orb. they remove the league specific things that generated these items but the items themselves become general.

people scalping unid belts and black baryas are playing with fire. even if they go legacy, people arent gonna pay 15d for black barya or 30d for unid when 99% of these belts are worthless trash. i bet the smart money who anticipated this (i saw black barya and vaal orb have extremely strong bid a few days leading to announcement, they were absorbing all supply at peak league price) have already cashed out, its the dumb retail traders providing exit liquidity for the cartels who bought before announcement. u can see vaal orb price already falling to near pre announcement price, black barya continues to get faded on every rally. if support of 8d gets taken out with force, its confirmed no legacy.
