Ability to toggle between online and offline (ingame on friends list) not the DND feature
I would love the ability to just show offline on my friends list either thru toggle, or something similar. Its crazy that its 2025 and this is not implemented in the game yet. Steam has this feature, dota has this feature, and many other games have this. Can call me an asshole for not wanting to show online to my friends while playing but sometimes you wanna do that for whatever reason and then later go online. I bet they would be surprised at the amount of people that do this.

Edit to title should be online-offline
Sorry typo |

Also should clarify (not actually offline as the ability to play offline, but purely as a status notifier) so you dont get blasted by whispers of friends that are online

Let's imagine the feature is implemented, you've logged-in, turned "offline" status, you're no longer shown "online" in a friend list nor trade website.
What should've happened if you'd messaged someone? 1: the message should be discarded (you're unable to send messages while "offline") 2: the message may be delivered if the message is delivered, what should've happened if the message recipient had sent a reply? 3: they'll see the default "account is offline" notify. 4: the reply is delivered even while you're technically "offline". if you pick 1: then this is what /dnd do. Done. if you pick 2, 3: this behavior is annoying and non user-friendly while semantically correct. if you pick 2, 4: this makes a status flag meaningless, because each time you want to communicate with a person you have to send them a message and wait for the responding "is offline" notification or "kinda online" silence. The suggestion is not suitable to the game in its current state. Last edited by ThisIsAJoke#3467 on Jul 18, 2025, 9:45:29 AM
