Caster Mastery chest opening not giving flares or dynamite when chests are opened in Delve

Hi, I have been using caster mastery to open chests on 25% of cast more this league and noticed when it activates when I am near a flare/dynamite cache (e.g.) howling den node, I will not be given any of the resource.
