Champion's Inspirational heals boss in Moment of Reverence

I was fighting the boss in Moment of Reverence and he kept regenerating HP throughout the fight.
After he healed up past full a good 3 or 4 times I realized it was not a mechanic he was doing to cause healing and it happened when I placed War Banner.

Champion with Inspirational node + any banner should cause this to happen
