Feedback. Atlas/Waystones and some general things
Exploring the Atlas:
Map choice: You don't have a "real" choice of what map you run. You have to run what the Tower choose to juice, or the ones on the way to your goal, and because of the size of (so time in) maps, you mostly run in the least maps required way to not waste to much time to get there! Solution: Give every map-point on the atlas, 2-3 maps to choose from the biome you are in. Towers/Tablets: I seen (and agree) some suggestions to change towers, so they only increase the visibility in the fog. Let us put the tablets in the map-device itself and let them count for a given number of waystones. Reduce water on the atlas, it is contraproductive, if exploring the atlas is the content. Zoom still feels a bit low. Rolling Waystones: PUKE² I do not like it in poe1 and in poe2 it is even whorse because we can't reroll them. It is time consuming, tedious, boring, and made me quit the game way more often than anything else, because i hate it so much. early you don't have the map sustain or currency to do it in bulk, and later it gets frustrating as hell. (at least for me) Solution: Give us a MAP ROLLING DEVICE! You put the waystones and currency inside, then you can set up 2 lists out of all available waystone mods: Never! - Well this mods you don't like on the waystone. Always! - This mods need to be on the waystone. And then, the device start to roll and you can take the finished waystones to run or juice them further. Just make the cost have a range, depending on the mods weight. What leads me to my next point, max length of 50 characters for the search function. with most classes, JUST TO SORT OUT MAPS, we have to use multiple regex because of this limit. this is just bad and needs some love. i like it to explore the atlas and i think this changes could make the whole process way more enjoyable. edit: also i think it would be helpful for new player to have a littel window when hovering a map on the atlas that contains a picture of the boss and arena if there is one and a picture from any point in the map that shows how the map looks like Last edited by Krogbarg#7566 on Apr 23, 2025, 3:43:19 PM Last bumped on Apr 23, 2025, 3:32:38 PM
