[Tested & Verified BUG] Combust triggered by Temper Weapon not working (Smith of Kitava)
Combust triggered by Temper Weapon does 0 damage.
I have tested this extensively, very carefully to make sure I'm not triggering some hidden mechanic. I have used video recordings in slow motion to verify and see this very clearly. I am using no support gems, no auras, no damage conversion. My weapons are flat physical damage weapons. It is very clear that combust is not doing ANY damage. GGG Please help.
Can anyone else playing Smith of Kitava tell me that their combust is actually working? Hard to believe something like this wouldn't be known about - could it just be me? Last edited by zxBlasphemy#5164 on Apr 7, 2025, 6:29:46 PM

Fellow Smith here,
It is most certainly not just you. Any source of footage I've found corroborates with your statement too. Additionally, it seems, according to some others, that every empowered attack save for the one performed with one charge remaining, only applies to the first hit in a multi-hit attack (as is derived from the visual explosions still happening, despite the lack of damage). Would love to at least see this on the known issues board so we know it isn't forgotten about. |

I noticed the same thing about the explosions on multi-hit attacks. It's funny because if you're running Herald of Ashes you would never notice when you're playing.
I tested it on quarterstaffs and maces with 6 different attacks. Despite the explosions animation rendering, absolutely 0 damage. |

I can confirm that temper weapon is bugged, also another bug I found while playing online coop with my friend is that he can't even see me hitting the anvil when I activate the skill, so there must be something bugged with it server wise, as if it doesn't register that you are using it.

Still hoping for a response from GGG.
This is a major, build disabling BUG that needs attention. |

Just wondering if this has been addressed yet? Has anyone seen any comments or updates?
