We got GGG respond to 0.2 launch.
Not even "We are sorry"... Not even "We need to learn from this" Not even "We will be taking a look on the progress and quality control before launching a new patch" Nothing of this... And that is when I as a player decides to STOP playing POE 2 for good. Last bumped on Apr 9, 2025, 11:56:32 AM

They (GGG) addressed the 0.2 Patch notes in an interview(s) w/ streamers days before the launch...they covered this topic a bit.

Why should they...most of us love 0.2.0 and the challange it offers.
It's only you and some other whiners who practicaly want POE2 being a Diablo 4 (2.0) instead of taking the time you complain to upgrade your charcter for the challanges 0.2 has to offer. If you try to beat a campaign boss underleveled and undergeared or don't know the boss mechanics so u can beat him underleveled it's def not the games fault....stop being lazy and farm some gear and levels in previous areas if you're not skilled enough to learn and play the boss attack patterns propperly (same for all the other encounters in the game). ;) Last edited by CroDanZ#1818 on Apr 7, 2025, 6:29:42 AM

I used to be a blizzard/WoW fan. I would pay 15 dollars a month to play a game that was often rife with issues, and would go a whole year without any new content at times. The forums were constantly on fire with complaints, which were met with silence for very long periods of time. If we eventually got a response, it usually included bad excuses, pivots, straight up lies, and avoidance of the actual question.
GGG have released a game that you pay 30 dollars for ONCE. They respond to issues, give insight into the difficulties they're having, and why they might be hesitant to do certain things. What disturbs me is despite switching from being a blizzard to a GGG fan, the complaints have not changed. I even feel second hand embarrassment from threads like this. GGG don't need to apologize for anything. PoE2 has a lot of problems and they've been addressing/posting about them at a decent cadence. You have no idea how long these things take to develop. There's no other arpg that's even remotely similar when it comes to complexity, customization, replayability, talent of the devs. The vocal minority has just been using GGG's openness as opportunity to yell at them how entitled they are to tell GGG how the game should look like... Think about it for a second. |

GGG is a company that does business, they are not good will Samaritans, if the product is bad people have the right to criticise and be upset.
