Unlimited Dodge Roll Trivializes the Game.

I'm just rolling around everywhere no matter what my build is and if I have any ranged or delayed skill it's especially easy. I absolutely love the game so far, but can we please put some limits on constantly rolling around. Make it tied to STR maybe... and put a small CD in it. needs some tinkering. Why would you dodge roll everywhere? It makes you move slower and has no iframes.
Pay very close attention to your next dodge roll, note the higher speed in the first quarter of the roll, the normal speed in the middle half, and slow down in the last quarter and the quarter second coming out of the roll. If you have enough movespeed, you dont NEED to dodgeroll. |

I think the dodge roll was very well integrated into this game as a way to add a defensive layer not tied to just your character stats but player skill. If anything ppl don't use it enough.
Kinda wish they added like different animation sets for different classes, maybe even as MTX cause if they added a mini teleport, or bloodhound step animation I'd actually fork over some dough for that. |

Roll is not enough when you're against quick enemies and spamming it all the time also isn't solution to survive.

just try basic attack, walk sideways (circular motion), basic attack, move, attack..
you really are slowing your gameplay down a lot because rolling takes so much time. i'd argue if you're running around in light armor (evasion or shield only or that type) you will likely move ever so tiny bit faster than you actually can cross distance spamming the dodge roll. and armour gear does slow you down, but nowhere near to the point where dodge rolling in melee combat would be preferrable. dodge rolling is great to quickly get away from the spot where you are right now, but it is a bad tool for "traversing the map" so to speak. pls
-add "Advanced Targeting System" to the options so we can disable accessibility-stuff -fix skills w/o movement to NOT MOVE YOU when using Attack Without Moving i.e. Ice Strike -rework: enemies instant-spells = math-game || very unfitting for meaningful combat cuz can't avoid with skill thx <3 |

Dodge roll is bad. It also has no iframes. You speedily move but that speed is then countered by coming out of it slowly.
None of my lvl 90+ characters dodge rolled except for occasional boss mechanics. Good builds eliminate the need for roll. |
