Unfair Death in Trial of Sekhemas Due to Boon Mechanics POE2

I just completed the final boss in the Trial of Sekhemas with the boon "Cannot take damage until you complete the next room," which happened to apply to the final boss room. However, death effects killed me afterward and robbed me of my rewards. This feels incredibly unfair given the mechanics of the boon and the situation. Here’s the screenshot showing what happened:

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any recourse or fix for this scenario?

It considers the room complete whenever you finish the objective not when you leave the room, so you lose the effect the second you kill the boss.

Though I don't think the fourth boss has death effects does he? I'm guessing it was one of his attacks that last forever that didn't stop? Ie the portals on the sides, the best thing to do in this situation is after killing him move to the bottom right corner and wait for all the attacks currently in progress to stop.

Yes, I had the case that the other guy I was doing the trial with finished the room where we had the "Cannot take damage until you complete the next room" mod on and as soon as that happened, the traps started to damage me.
Nothing bad happened, but yeah, that really should be fixed...
