Can't cancel lever animation in Augury maps
All character animations need to be interruptible, and yet, the lever animation from the Augury maps is not. Just died because of it. The consequences for death are far too high to have uninterruptible animations.

Kill all mobs around it then press the lever. No deaths then. I feel your pain and I know it is anoying.

Most people probably skip this map just due to that tight design and the levers. It's horrible to do with breaches and I even once had a ritual spawn on top of the lever.
Honestly it would've been better if waystones included maps and it's a build as you go and do enough maps and see the monolith or something. Most people would be doing the open ones instead. |

I died to that as well, its a noob trap, the animation should be cancelled the second you take damage from any source

Absolutely agree, just died because I clicked it on accident while moving through the room. PLEASE let us cancel the animation, or at LEAST interrupt me when something hits me. |

Levers are the epitome of slow and methodical gameplay. You must use all your knowledge you gained through the campaign and the trails. First, kill everything. Second, don't get hit. Third, patience. Only then can you commit to pulling a lever.

GGG talked about it in the interview with DarthMicrotransactionTV. They agree that it needs to go away. I don't know if it will be in the patch this week, but they will fix it.

They said in the dev stream on Sunday that they're fixing the levers to make them faster, and possible to interrupt if attacked. They also said they're going to make it so that burning ground can't spawn directly in the animation spot, causing people to die from fire with no means to escape it or progress.
