Remove EB

Ok, here me out, before dismissing the idea.

Mana is a design nob in which designers can control damage output.

Damage is gated by your mana, and how fast you regen it. And the PoE tree has eliminated almost all sources of %increased mana.

Then this nob is completely destroyed by including EB in PoE2.

It converts absolutely massive amounts of energy shield into mana. Leading to a 2-4x larger mana pool. Just so that MoM can exist.

Having EB allows you to run crazy cast on X that triggers a billion times. It's not the billion casts of cast on X that's the issue. It's the mana that is billions deep. And cast on X payed the price for that with a major nerf.

I'd rather have old Cast on X numbers, gated by something else, like having the spells cast sequentially and not queue if there's already a spell being cast by cast on X.

People would be more likely to agree or disagree if you'd actually cleartext "EB" at least once in your post... preferably the first time you typed it.
