Uncut Gem with desired Level

Hey guys,

is there a way to get some uncut gems with a desired level?
In my case i want to get an uncut spirit gem lvl8, reason being attribute requirements would be too high if i use a higher level one.

So far i guess the only way to get one of those is to farm low level waystones right?
If so, I would appreciate it to be able to change the level of uncut gems, at least lower their level. Otherwise its a chore especially in SSF to get the right uncut gem.
